Retriever Dance-Feb. 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at TRES

Show us your dance moves and learn some new ones! Join us for a night of dancing, watch a performance by a professional hip-hop dancer, and learn some new hip hop steps. Attendees may also make a sundae and have a picture taken by a professional photographer to remember your night. This dance is for current TRES students only; it is not a drop-off event and parents are responsible for all TRES students they bring to the dance. This is also our kick-off for "Soles for Souls." (See info below.)

Community Affairs Soles for Souls Project
Put on you’re dancing shoes and donate some others. The community outreach committee will be hosting a shoe drive to help support the “ soles for souls” campaign. The drive will begin on Friday, Feb 10th at the Retriever Dance. If you aren’t attending the dance, collection bins will be at the front of the school until Friday, Feb. 24th Please make sure to donate new or gently used shoes. In addition, please secure the shoes together or have the laces tied to make sure they stay a match. These shoes will be delivered to children in various parts of the world through the “soles for souls” organization.

HCPSS Elem Report Card Committee

Greetings Delegates and Presidents,
PTACHC is seeking someone who is interested and able to represent the PTACHC on the Elementary Report Card Revision Committee to work on report card revisions to present to the Howard County Board of Education.
If you or someone you know who would be able to serve on this committee with just 6 meetings, Please submit name, PTA, Phone number, and email address to the PTACHC office by October 20th.
